Editorial purpose
Windward Nile is an independent English-language journal about felucca form, river observation and considerate visitor preparation. It is not a boat operator, transport authority, marina, tourism office, safety certifier or representative of any crew or river community.
No booking or operating service
The site does not sell or arrange rides, quote current prices, publish live schedules or approve operators. A photograph does not establish that a boat, route or landing remains available. Confirm all details directly with a responsible current provider and follow applicable local rules and instructions.
Not navigation, weather or safety advice
Articles explain visible relationships for general education. They do not provide headings, routes, depths, wind speed, river level, capacity or an assessment of vessel condition. Only responsible operators and authorities with current information can make immediate operating decisions. If an arrangement or condition is unclear, remain ashore.
Accuracy and availability
Reasonable care is taken to distinguish visible evidence from interpretation and to credit sources. Information can still become incomplete or outdated, and pages may be corrected, moved or withdrawn without notice. No guarantee is made that a page is suitable for a particular trip or decision.
Images and reuse
The editorial text may not be republished as another publisher’s original work. Photographs have separate creator and Creative Commons licence terms listed beside their use and on the sources page. Reusers must consult each original file page and satisfy its attribution, share-alike and other requirements.
